CdR: Marvel or DC?

Alternative Title: Cirque des Hero? lmao what neither name is good


Eh I should be drawing this week's challenge considering I'm not free this upcoming week but I had to draw this

As some of you might know/have picked up, I've been on a huge Batman binge the last few months... I mean, it's awesome and all, but I wanted to get into some Marvel stuff too. Jumping from reality-based Batman to fantastic Marvel seemed a little daunting. Though during a lengthy phone call with my friend ~ipsum-lorem, she reminded me of that thing called the X-Men and recommended me Wolverine and the X-Men (2008). I wouldn't say I grew up on X-Men, but some of my most prominent bits of memory of childhood TV adventures was X-Men related.

So this drawing was to show two characters that reminded me of Kes... Part of this is also to commemorate me finally getting to the end of WOTX's unfortunately short-lived run earlier today, after a 3day marathon haha

I first thought of Robin/Dick Grayson, since he's a trapeze artist too. Kurt/Nightcrawler also came to mind since he's from a freakshow. And well they're both superheroes with some sort of spunk and sass that Kes could possibly have (slim chance though). And they both are such dorks at times and you know how I fall for the dorks every. single. time.

The outfits I chose were from relatively recent adaptations, Robin's from Young Justice and Nightcrawler's from Wolverine and the X-Men. And whoa hey look they both wear red!

I wonder who'd be Kes' Batman and... who's Nightcrawler with usually anyway I have no idea
