Next one in line!
As you might've already guessed - I'm going with Japanese mythological characters this assignment.
Those of you unfamiliar with the dodomeki: they are thieves that have coin eyes or bird eyes all over their arms (some variations have them all over), one for each of their crimes (some say each coin is a literal coin they have stolen). The legend is said to have come about from the tradition of tattooing bird's eyes on the arms of convicted thieves so they can keep an eye on them (no pun intended). Some versions say they are the spirits of dead female thieves cursed to haunt the living and advise them to make better decisions than they had. Others say the dodomeki is genderless.
My one has coin eyes on her arms and I'm not sure if she's dead... but she's still stealing, that's for sure!
