Well I was submitting this today so I thought I'd pop it up here too--

I had an elective this semester which required me to create a Twine game at the end (choose-your-own-adventure maker, kind of thing) and my story required a monster of some kind.
While I didn't end up putting any visuals in my game I had to draw it out so I could describe it. Unfortunately for the moment the game won't be available anywhere for you guys to check out ;u; The concept behind my game was you have a creature to follow behind, and decisions to make along the way. Your actions determined your fate with patulepus at the end.

The basis of the design stemmed from the flower ears, which was part of a creature design I did for a group I used to mod years ago. It evoked very rabbit-like qualities, hence I based the creature's anatomy off a rabbit.
The nature of the creature was based on the flower I picked, which was a marigold. It means jealousy, and that shaped the personality of the creature in my game.

It's covered in a layer of sap, and smells strongly of cinnamon. It makes throaty noises like brook bubbles down to a gargle. When it opens its mouth its breath smells like rotting meat, and consumes unsuspecting travellers like a carnivorous plant does with flies.

I'm very proud of this little design, though I don't know what I'm going to do with it from here on out. It is a nice little guy to draw though (not so much its angry form). It might become a little monster species of mine.

As cool as the design is
IT’S HORRIFYING-
I mean, it looks pretty nice and maybe cute if it doesn’t open its mouth
A walking fly trap, oh man... How big is it? I imagine it to be the size of a llama, but if it’s rabbit sized, then I guess that’d be less scary

Anyways, amazing job on the design and description ^^
